A classic show



The sounds of soulful music and melodic voices filled the auditorium as the audience were treated to a musical performance like no other at ‘A Midsummer’s Night Dream’, an orchestral show held recently at Kala Academy, Panaji. Featuring some of the best musicians from all over India, the concert was organised by Opus Gala in collaboration with the Directorate of Art & Culture and Kala Academy and included works of composers like Bartok, Arensky and Barber. Sanya Myla Cotta(violin) and Tanisha Herbert(soprano) delivered solo performances while the orchestra was conducted by Belgian violinist Joris Decolvenaer.

Pradnya Gaonkar RaneBal Bhavan is always buzzing with activity. You can see little hands busy at work strumming the guitar while you listen to mesmerizing voices singing the various ragas of the classical Hindustani music.
