Many of us take for granted having a coat to keep us warm. But, for homeless people such things can be hard to find. One woman is trying to help solve both of those problems with one brilliant invention”a coat that transforms into a sleeping bag. The sleeves of the coat turn into a pillow, while the legs pull out from the bottom of the coat. Those who have the coat can also roll it up to create an over-the-shoulder bag when it’s warmer outside. The product comes from the nonprofit, 'The Empowerment Plan' and has been distributed to more than 10,000 people in the US and Canada.
