It's common knowledge that Stars Wars and Star Trek have had a friendly rivalry going on ever since both the franchises were born. And to celebrate the 38th anniversary of the much hated Star Wars Holiday Special recently, Star Trek's Captain Kirk played by William Shatner took to Twitter to take a jibe at the Star War cast members Peter Mahew, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher. However, Star War's Chewbacca wasn't having it and was quick to hit back at the actor. The 1978 much laughed at special saw the main Star Wars cast travelling to Chewie's home planet to meet his family, including father Itchy and son Lumpy. And George Lucas once said that if he had the time, he would track down every copy of it in existence to smash with a hammer.
