There's one more live action Disney remake in the work. Guy Ritchie is reportedly in talks to direct a live action adaptation of 1992 animated classic Aladdin which will be produced by Dan Lin with a script by Big Fish scribe John August. Here's a look at a few other Disney live action remakes that are in the works

Genies

In a prequel to the hugely popular Aladdin story, the genie which was previously voiced by late Robin Williams in the 1992 adaptation of the story is also going to be getting his own movie . The story will focus on how Genie came to end up in the lamp. The script will be written by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift while Tripp Vinson will produce the film through his production company Vinson Films,

Beauty and the Beast

This is one of the most talked about and much awaited film that is all set to arrive in theatres next year. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the classic film Beauty and the Beast, Disney announced a live action remake of the film stars Emma Watson as Belle while Dan Stevens of Downton Abbey fame, plays the beast. In other roles are Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere and Ian McKellen as Cogsworth. And the original voice behind Belle's character Paige O'Hara has given her stamp of approval for Watson.“I thought it was genius casting!” Paige said. “I don’t think you could pick anyone more right for Belle that’s out there that’s the right age. She’s beautiful, she’s got the intelligence, she’s extremely smart. I think she’s going to be wonderful. I really do!”

Mulan

To coincide with the 20th anniversary of Mulan, the film based on the spunky Chinese warrior which was released in 1998, Disney has also announced that a live action remake of the film will be coming out in November 2018 and will be released in 3D. Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver will tackle the script for Disney's new Mulan, while Jason Reed, Chris Bender and Jake Weiner will co-produce. The film however has recently run into a new controvery after an anonymous open letter has gone viral online claiming that the script of the new story has little to do with Mulan at all but is instead about a white savior who only helps the Chinese Imperial Army because he fancies Mulan.

The Lion King

Following his success with the recent Jungle Book, Jon Favreau is now turning his attention to another Disney classic and is all set to come out with a live action remake of The Lion King The film which came out in 1994, became of the biggest animated films of all time and was also nominated for and won both Academy and Grammy Awards. The film will include the beloved songs from the original, which were written by Elton John, Tim Rice and Hans Zimmer, including the Oscar-winning Can You Feel the Love Tonight.

Cruella

The much hated villian from 101 Dalmations , Cruella De Vil, is all set to get her own movie. And Emma Stone is all set to play the lead. Cruella will be scripted by Saving Mr Banks and Fifty Shades of Grey screenwriter Kelly Marcel and will present a new adventure for the vain and bloodthirsty villainess who was created by British author Dodie Smith in her 1956 novel The Hundred and One Dalmatians. This won’t be the first time that Cruella De Vil has appeared in the flesh, as Glenn Close brought her to life in the 1996 version of 101 Dalmatians, as well as the subsequent sequel, 102 Dalmatians, in 2000. The character has also appeared on ABC’s serialized fairy tale Once Upon a Time.

Dumbo

Lovable elephant Dumbo is also getting a live action remake with Tim Burton directing the flick. Burton who previously directed 2010 flick Alice in Wonderland's only five away about the plot is that “it’s a big world,”. The movie does not yet have a release date but is expected to be a mixture of special effects and live actors with a script written by Transformers franchise screenwriter Ehren Kruger.
