In a never before show - organized by pioneers of Live Music in Goa, Favela bar and kitchen will be hosting ‘KAPOW!’ a Delhi-based band who has a reputation for carrying out tribute shows for Queen and can truly do justice to Freddie Mercury by putting on a lively show.
A Delhi-based band that paints existing songs anew with their own characteristic outlook on music as they simultaneously use their symbolic and metonymic lyrics to tell untold yet relatable stories with the music filling the emotional colours taking the vibe from a chill, relaxing day at a beach to psychedelia to utter breakdown. All in all, they perform music which can be appreciated by the most diverse of masses, as they maintain the continuity of their characters and their way with the crowd. Staying true to their name, their songs are littered with unexpected punches. What’s more exciting is the fact that they’ll be doing a Queen tribute in the memory of the legend, Freddie Mercury, at Favela this Saturday at the later’s ladies night named ‘Kinky!’
Favela Bar and Kitchen is a live music venue that is frequented by lovers of Live Music during the weekends. A few weeks back, Favela had launched a ladies night that is first-of-its-kind in Goa, when it comes to the conceptualisation. Their ladies night named as ‘Kinky!’ is currently the biggest ladies night in Goa as it happens on a weekend, Saturday in particular.
