Tech companies spend a lot of time on making offices that optimize happiness. Pinterest's office doesn’t feel like an office at all. From nooks with comfy couches to designated quiet rooms to re-energize, Pinterest is committed to creating a space that people want to come to every day.
Google even aims to enrich the lives of its employees outside of work by paying for classes, such as learning a language, gardening, etc thus allowing its employees to grow and learn.
Many tech companies are of the mind that on your birthday you shouldn’t be at work. Amen to that.
