In a bid to set a world record, Goa Marriot Resrt and Spa hosted 'Go Cheese 5555 cup cakes recently. The event saw 350 chefs from across the state headed by corporate executive chef Chef Raman, coming together to create 5555 different varieties of cupcakes with ingredients as varied as chocolate, green chili, marmalade, cashew feni etc within 12 hours. Siddarth Kuncalienker was the chief guest for the event which was hosted by food author and critic Odette Macarenhas. The cupcakes were later donated to orphanages and other charitable organizations.
