Can India do it again?

They came. They saw. They thrashed. That has pretty much been the mantra for Team India as far as T20 matches were concerned this year. After winning against Australia and Sri Lanka this year and then clinching the Asia Cup, India came into World Cup tournament as favorites. And then crumbled like a pack of cards in their first outing against New Zealand. Although they recovered well to win all their matches since then, the question remains...can they continue the winning streak till the end?

QUOTES

Of course I'm full on supporting and rooting for India. They have it totally in them to win it. Plus the prayers and support of the full nation is with them -Malusha Dias

I think their chances are pretty good if they keep playing the way that they have been doing so. They've been playing some pretty good cricket and with players like Kohli, Panya and Dhoni I think they can take it all the way -Malavika Silveira

They are going to win it. It may seem like they are relying a little too much on Virat Kohli but I disagree. Dhoni is contributing and Yuvraj too. Also, Ashwin, Jadeja and Hardik. Kohli stands out yes, but there are others chipping in bits. It's still a team effort even though Kohli's performances are taking centre stage -Agnelo D'Souza

I think it's ok to be trolled once in awhile. We do it in college as well. And in the beginning it was funny I guess for the two of them too. But then I guess it just got really annoying, probably when they were together itself and then they broke up. And he said it in his post that 'this is long time coming'. And he's posted it now because he's probably been waiting for the right time to say it. I don't know what has happened of the post and its effects after he posted it but I follow him on Instagram and I'd seen it first hand and it must definitely seem genuine. I'm not the guy who would defend Kohli because I never really liked him until recently. But he's grown a lot, as a player and as a human. I can't imagine that he's the same guy who raised his middle finger to the crowd a few years ago -Declan Da Silva Pereira

They are not consistent most of the times. But the previous game was indeed a good one. India has many top notch players, in the previous game against Australia Virat stole the show and sent the Aussies down under. This time may the force of a billion people be with India and move onwards to the finals. Team India for the win - Geneveive Fernandes

Despite recent near misses our Indian team made it through to the semis. This time though we shall make the WI team bleed blue. C'mon India! #INDvWI #bleedblue - Sandy Pereira Fernandes

I think India has been luck so far, because looking at the games so far, India's fielding has not been completely up to the mark. Also, a lot of the credit as to why they have come so far rests on MS Dhoni who has been an excellent captain. He's planning has been wonderful and even though at times it doesn't work, he adjusts well accordingly. That said, its T20, and anyone can win. Still here's hoping that India wins -Luvinco Couto.
