Acting is an imprtant aspect of tiatr and with an aim of attracting youth towards dramatic activites, Tiatr Academy of Goa in collaboration with the Parish of Regina Martyrum, Assolna will be organizing an All Goa One Act Play Competition in Konkani from September 19 to 21, 3pm onwards.
Three prizes will be awarded for best performances of the plays in the competition. The award will consists of a memento, certificate and cash amount of Rs. 20,000/-, Rs. 15,000/- and Rs. 10,000/- for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd winner respectively. Besides this, there will be individual prizes for best direction, best male and female actors, best background music, best stage setting, best light effects, best make-up and best script.
The duration of the one act play should not be less than 35 minutes and more than 45 minutes. A maximum of 18 groups will be permitted to participate in the competition on ‘first come first serve basis’.
The application forms and rules and regulations of the competition may be collected from the office of TAG, AS-1, 2nd Floor, Campal Trade Centre, Campal during office hours. The last date to submit entry is September 16.
