Jammu and Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu, a leading NGO of J&K in collaboration with Studio Akshay, a leading NGO of Pune (MR) is mounting a national exhibition of paintings in Goa. The exhibition will be inaugurated on January 31 at 4 pm and will remain open till February 3 between 11 am to 6 pm at Kala Academy art gallery in Panaji.
The paintings of veteran, senior and young artists from Goa, New Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal will be displayed in the show. From Goa, Vinita Chendavankar and Hitesh Pankar are participating in this mega exhibition.
The artists whose works would be displayed in the exhibition are V S Rahi, Dr A K Dixit and B Sireesha (New Delhi), Jaiprakash Jagtap, Ramesh Bhosale, Prakash Babahi Borude and Vijay Bhosale (Maharashtra), K S Gill, Mala Chawla and Ravinder Dhillon (Amritsar), Dharminder Sharma, Ravinder Kaur and Mala Chawla (Punjab), Shikha Nandan (West Bengal), Dr Mamta Singh, (Uttarakhand), Vinita Chendavankar and Hitesh Pankar (Goa), Dr Nathu Lal Verma (Rajasthan), Sikha Nandan (Kolkata), Pratima Singh (Uttar Pradesh), Aslam Naqishbandi (Srinagar), T S Batra, Jang S Verman, O P Sharma and Shivani Bhat Koul (Jammu).
Established in 1999 by some art lovers and enthusiasts to promote, preserve and propagate art heritage, Jammu and Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA) has so far organised hundreds of art and culture activities in the country including All India Art Exhibitions and Art Camps and four International Art Exhibitions of Art. JKCCA is holding its fifth International Exhibition of Art in April 2019.
