Twenty three upcoming models battled it out at the Mr & Miss Ingenious pageant held in Panaji recently. The pageant organised by Crazy4Entertainments included an intensive three day workshop held in Panaji recently.
Contestants went around the city talking about the problems people suffer. The participants then took part in a gliterring finale at Mr & Ms Ingenious Goa 2019 that tested them for their confidence, ramp walk and reasoning. The evening also saw a unique fashion show where designers SudhaVishwakarma, Roshni Prajapati and Kajal Singh showcased their collections.
The winners in the models category were Yash Karpe, with Prabhal Sharma and Kartik Khandeparkar being awarded the first and second runners up. In the girls category, Pooja Bedi was crowned Miss Ingenious, while Priya Shinde and Maleehah Khan walked away with the runners up titles. In kids category, Divya Naik bagged the top prize, and Shravani Nagvenkar and Shreya Birajdar won the runners up. In the boy’s category, Atharva Sawant won the Master Ingenious title, and Utkarsh Tivrekar and Shifan Mulla won the runners up. In the senior category, Rohisha Verekar was crowned Ms Ingenious, while Sampada Gawas and Pooja D’costa walked away with the runners up titles.
The jury comprised of Aakash Chaudhary (Rubaru Mr India ), Dheeraj Amonkar(International model) and Romanch Mehta (TV serial actor). Proceeds of this event will go to #missionk2k that’s waging a war against child abuse and rape in the country.
Ultra-runner Dveep Mulvi Bandodkar, from Ponda, who has previously done a run from Goa to Pune and Goa to Delhi to support the cause, is setting out on a run from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, where he will stop at villages and cities along the way making people aware of the adversities women in the country face and how we can make India a better place for women.
