Grand Hyatt Goa marked the beginning of the festivities with its annual tree lighting ceremony by the 17th century chapel on the lawns of the resort.
The celebration was kick-started with a warm pot of gluhwein and melodious tunes by Katya Ivanovna along with the kids from Care and Compassion Goa and Bethesda Life Centre who elevated the celebration with Christmas carols represented in their own unique performance. They also brought along intricately handmade ornaments that added to the glory of the Christmas tree.
Set against the calm waters of the Bambolim Bay, the evening was filled with delight and merriment as Christmas tree lit up with trinkets of gold by David Ansted, Executive Chef at Grand Hyatt Goa.
The ceremony progressed with an evening of gastronomical indulgence at the Asian Wok, where guests were treated to an all new menu of sushi and dimsums curated by the expert chefs of Asian Wok.
