Divar school celebrates 70 years of India’s Independence
Our Lady Of Divar High school, Divar celebrated 70 years of India's independence in the school. The programme started with the unfurling of the national flag by the manager Fr. Jose Dias and of singing of the the national anthem followed by the march Past Parade by the students.

The primary students and the secondary students also sang three different the national integration songs on the occasion. Student Myron Afonso gave a speech on the Independence day to the audience.Teacher Maria Vaz also conducted a special prayer service being the feast of Our Lady of Assumption.Teacher Anthony D' Lima compered the entire programme and teacher Vanita Amonker proposed the vote of thanks. Teachers Maria, Vanita,and Anthony were the main coordinators of the Independence day under the guidance of headmaster Mario Moraes. All the teachers and students were present on the occasion.
Mahila Nutan school bagged the second prize at State level patriotic singing competition organised by Bal Bhavan recently.
