One of Goa’s oldest churches, the Se Cathedral is the venue for a fun fancy dress competition for children. It’s a nice summer activity for children as well as their parents who can also spend some time looking around the great historic edifices at the Old Goa church complex and near-about, while also indulging their wards a wee bit.
The fancy dress competition is a part of a fete ‘Family Fiesta’ at the Se Cathedral church grounds. It will be held today, on April 17 for children up to the age of 12. The event is open to all irrespective of caste, creed, religion and the place in Goa where you hail from.
Additionally, the fete will have food stalls, games, music and entertainment for visitors. Highlights of the event, includes a magic show for kids, a fashion show and performances by African acrobats. Goa’s popular bands Purple Rain and Glowing Shadows will be performing on April 17 as part of the fete.
