While the world parties on land, party this year on a boat. Boat parties in many ways, are a coming of age as far as the state’s party scene is concerned. With so many beautiful rivers crisscrossing this tropical paradise, a party onboard a boat should be automatically considered a logical extension of Goan entertainment. This year, there are a few experiences which we would like to put forth as far as boat parties are concerned.
First there’s the ‘The WOOF WOOF Experience’, which unhinges from the Morjim mainland to ensure that party-goers get this unique experience of fun surrounded by the magical Arabian sea. The trip offers a party zone eight nautical miles into the sea for nearly three to six hours, where you can sip on your drinks through sun rise, sun set, moonlight, at a time of your choosing.
Customised music means you get to choose your kind of music from the onboard selection which includes Blues, Ambient, Chill-out, Opera to Sufi, Global beats, Psychedelic, Trance and Electronica. The organisers even allow a musician on request, along with other professional performances. On hand this season are Tarot and Angel card readings, belly dancers, 5 Rhythms and music makers and DJs. Drinks onboard include chilled juices, coconut water, a fully functional bar, seasonal tropical fruits as well as premium alcohol wines and champagne.
The six-hour voyage obviously cannot happen on an empty stomach. The party at the Flor Do Mar boat, India’s first floating bar and lounge also has organized a techno line-up.
