Suicide Squad actress and recent SNL host Margot Robbie is in talks to lend her voice to the upcoming live-action and CG adaptation of Beatrix Potter’s beloved children’s book Peter Rabbit.

The movie, which is being produced by Sony’s Columbia Pictures, is said to be a modern interpretation of Potter’s stories, which focus on the titular bunny’s rivalry with vegetable-loving farmer Mr. McGregor. According to reports, Robbie will be voicing a bunny. James Corden will voice Peter and Rose Byrne will play a live-action character named Bea.

Indeed, over the years, plenty of celebrities have lent their voices for animated characters on TV shows and movies like the later Robbie Williams who voiced the Genie or Idria Elba who voiced the ferocious Shere Khan in the recent Jungle Book movie. Recently Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick have been making news after they lent their voice for the upcoming film Trolls.

Here's a look at the voices behind some other beloved animated characters that you may not know about

Fergie “ Sally Brown

The vocalist of the Black Eyes Peas, Fergie was a child star who appeared on the Disney Channel's Kids Incorporated. Apart from this she also lent her voice to Sally Brown, Charlie Brown’s kid sister, on three Peanuts animated TV specials produced in the '80s (It's Flashbeagle, Charlie Brown; Snoopy's Getting Married, Charlie Brown; and The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show).

Tony Goldwyn -Tarzan

Before he was President Fitzgerald Grant III on Scandal, Tony Goldwyn voiced the King of the Jungle, Tarzan, a role he found to be one of the most interesting and challenging of anything he's done in his career. He further added at that time, that doing the Tarzan yell was the hardest.

Cameron Diaz “ Princess Fiona

Cameron Diaz who has previously voiced a couple of female characters in the 1st 2 VeggieTales episodes in Spanish also lent her voice for the iconic Princess Fiona in Shrek, Shrek 2, Shrek the Third, and Shrek Forever After. Diaz however, is against telling kids that it was she who voiced the character as she would prefer if they believe that Princess Fiona is real.

Antonia Banderas -Puss in Boots

The Spanish actor has been the voice of the swashbuckling tabby since the character was introduced a decade ago in Shrek 2. “ Puss has given me the opportunity to laugh at myself and to laugh most of all about the great characters that I've played who are bigger than life,” he said,

Jada Pinkett Smith “ Gloria

Playing the role of a wild animal wasn't easy at first but Jada Pinkett Smith, who lent her voice for Gloria the hippopotamus in Madagascar; Madagascar 2: Escape 2 Africa; Merry Madagascar; Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted; Madly Madagascar, figured it out somehow. She just had to reach inside to her “inner hippo”, she said.
