The first ever singing contest for senior citizens‘Golden Voices' was organised recently by Nave Marg in association with Music Mania Foundation and Ravindra Bhavan, Margao. The contest was held in three categories. Pascoal Fernandes emerged victorious in the English section while Quintin Creado was the runner up. Assuncao Pereira was the winner in the Konkani round which saw Dulcina Fernandes take runner up.
In the Hindi category, Dr Antonio Soares and Jerry Menezes got first and runner
up respectively.

A majestic musical vision

One of the world’s leading musicians, Baluji Shrivastav, who received recognition from the Queen of England along with other visually impaired musicians, is in Goa to present ‘Antardrishti- Inner Vision’. This event to be held at International Centre Goa (ICG) will be followed by a unique music and dance performance
