The resource person for this guest lecture was William Vaz, Director, Comtech Computer Academy, Ponda, Goa.
The Principal, Dr. Manasvi Kamat, introduced the Resource Person to the students and expressed her happiness that this important guest session was being organized to familiarize students with the concept of GST.
William Vaz, informed students about the evolution of GST, the taxes previously levied and benefits of GST for consumers.
Vaz also highlighted the various components of GST, that is, Central GST, State GST and Integrated GST.
Further, he even simplified the concept of GST Accounting by using Tally ERP9. Before ending the session, Vaz answered students' queries.
