Cumborda Sports Club edged past Damodlem 1-0 to win the 2nd All Goa Curtorim inter ward football tournament organised by Cumborda Sports Club, Curtorim in an exciting final at Curtorim ground.
The all important goal was scored by Veron Fernandes in the first half. The second session turned livelier and Damodolem came close to levelling the score but Ryan Fernandes’ shot was well blocked by Cumborda goalkeeper Johnson Bhagat. Curtorim MLA Reginaldo Lourenco was the chief guest and gave away the prizes in the presence of Curtorim Sarpanch Rui Menezes.
