TVS Racing rider Harith Noah, the national supercross champion and one of the finest riders in the country, will be in action on Sunday during the the second round of the MRF MoGrip Supercross Championship 2018

at Fatorda.

Noah is a premier rider with TVS Racing team, having featured in Class SX I Expert Class and Foreign Expert Class 1. In the discipline that attracts more spectators in India than any other motorsport, Noah has made waves with his unique riding style and is set to provide an exhibition of his tricks and equiste manoeuvres with the two-wheeler, which is certain to thrill the fans.

Meanwhile, the FMSCI conducted training programmes for marshals under the guidance of former champions and organiser of Godspeed Racing Shyan Kothari. Kothari stated that 20 sportspersons, mostly with two-wheeler racing experience, have been registered for the training programme for qualifying as marshals which will cover general safety, flag signals, hand signals, incident handling, race starting procedures, lap scoring, finish line procedures, parc ferme regulations, results and wireless communication, disclosed Kothari.

Meanwhile, the preparations for the main Sunday event at Fatorda were in full swing. The event is officially recognised by FMSCI, after the organisers got the permit after obtaining all the necessary clearances.

“The racing scene has now shifted to South Goa, with no races being granted recognised by FMSCI happening elsewhere in the State,” Kothari said. “The event is an opportunity for Goan riders to test their skills with the other top performers from other parts of the country. There are no bigger Goan stars than Javed Shaikh and Ankush Rao, who have shone at the national level competitions and no Goa team is a true reprsentative of the State without these two.”
