Aside from valiantly guarding our country’s marine borders and catching unscrupulous pirates, the Indian Navy also takes its music seriously.
Its naval bands, where it’s personnel dish out the most delightful music have taken the place of pride at national and international events like the Republic Day, Beating Retreat, etc,
The Indian Navy’s in-house bands also have a sturdy following on the internet, which is proof of the interest they invoke among Indian music lovers making the band-men ambassadors of not only music, but of the Indian Navy and India itself.
The musical men of the Indian Navy are now putting together a performance in Goa. One you should not miss at any cost. The Flag Officer Commanding Goa Naval Area is hosting a Band Concert at Kala Academy, Panaji and Ravindra Bhavan, Vasco over the course of the coming weekend.
