Everyone knows the story about John Fitzgerald Kennedy, or JFK, the prolific president who was assassinated in Texas in the 60s. He was the president who oversaw the Bay of Pigs issue in Cuba and also was rumoured to have an affair with Marilyn Monroe. But not many know the story of his wife Jacqueline Kennedy, who later added Onassis to her name, after her marriage to the Greek shipping magnate. Natalie Portman now plays the lady in a movie called Jackie, the trailer of which is up on YouTube. The trailer itself is quite ominous. It shows a young lady, not to the manor born, but someone who has had to find her way through life, by her famous husband’s side. Who had to wash his blood off her body when he was killed and who then had to bring up their children, all the while keeping up brave facade. This movie will finally lay a lot of rumours to rest and also showcase a lady and her character in the face of trouble. Natalie Portman seems to have done a stellar job and her resemblance to Jackie is uncanny.
