The annual Goa International Jazz Live Festival, a celebration of new age jazz is back for yet another edition. This time around the festival has been acquired by Teamworks Arts who also handle the Jaipur Literature Festival. With a definite aim to push the boundaries of what typically constitutes the sound of the genre, GIJLF mixes punk, hip-hop, R&B and other forms of music with jazz to come up with tunes that appeal both to the ears and feet. This year, as part of Jazz India Circuit “ an effort by Teamwork Arts to promote jazz across India “ Goa will host eight cutting-edge experimental bands on November 26 and 27 at the Stonewater Eco Resort. They are Hely, DMT Jazz Trio, Gael Horellou Identite, Yuichiro Tokuda's Ralyzzdig, Tam De Villiers Quartet, World Service Project, Malika Tirolien and Steve Sequeira Ensemble.
