Women's art exhibition
The Indian Council for cultural Relations and Directorate of Art and Culture Goa is organizing the 'Maitri' art exhibition which showcases works exclusively by women artistes of India and China. Of the 20 artworks on display 10 are from China and ten from India.

Pencil to portfolio
With a curriculum designed to impart new skills through the elements and principles of design, the pencil to portfolio course will teach students to create his or her own storyboard and turn their drawings,sculptures and photographs into flip animation! Each child will exhibit a flip animation at the end-of-term exhibition along with the selected artworks (drawings, sculptures and photographs). Ages10-12years

Brain magic
A course on brain magic will be organized by Clifford De Silva of Goa Institute of Counselling to help utilise the power of the Brain through NLP. The course explore issues like how to reprogramme your brain to get what you want when you want it, how to change yourself and others fast and easily, how to use non-verbal power in dealing with people, how to tell whether someone is lying or telling the truth, new and certain ways to overcome your challenges, fail-safe ways to increase your and others' effectiveness. It is ideal for marketing, salespersons and counsellors.

Short story contest
Fundacao Oriente in collaboration with Goa Writers Group, Konkani Basha Mandal and Gomantak Marathi Academy is organizing a Goan Short Story Competition . The short story is open to entries in Konkani (Devnagari/Romi), Marathi, Portuguese or English. There will also be a workshop consisting of sessions on : 'Tapping into your creativity', 'Who Am I writing for?' 'A glance at poetry' etc.
