Although the awareness with regards to mental health has improved slowly but steadily in recent times, there is still a long way to go before people can be adequately educated in this regard.
Thus with an aim to spread this awareness yet further, COOJ, a non-profit, non governmental organisation is organising a two day 'Mental Health Awareness' fair on May 6 and 7 from 5 pm to 9 pm, near Children's Municipal Park, Vasco.
This is an educative and entertainment function for the young and old highlighting the important aspects of mental health awareness. Besides this, there will be games, food stalls, live band, dance and other entertainment.
Vasco City Leo Lions, a group which believes in working towards the betterment of society through collective effort and social service will be assisting in fund generation by putting up a Jumble Charity Sale.
