Carlos Santana has completed his new album Santan IV in a span of four days. "We completed a whole album - we did 16 songs in four days and they're killer," said Santana. The album also features two collaborations with R&B legend Ronald Isley, after Santana teamed up with the singer for his own forthcoming release, The Power of Peace. The musician admits working together was a dream come true as he has long been a fan of Isley's and even had his tunes playing when Santana wed drummer Cindy Blackman in 2010. He recalled, "I said to Ronnie, 'Listen, I'm gonna be totally into, like a laser, honouring you, celebrating you and doing an album (The Power of Peace) just to put the light on you. But I want to know in return, will you sing two songs on our album, on Santana IV?' He said yes, so I wrote those two songs in 20 minutes at the Four Seasons (hotel) in Miami."
