Right after Rio Olympics 2016, we saw an epic exchange of words between Virender Sehwag and British journalist Piers Morgan. The British television host is known to be a peculiar man and often rubs people the wrong way with his tweets, just ask most Arsenal fans about their hatred for him, despite him being a fellow Gooner. Sehwag was brilliant as one of India’s biggest crickets and his work with the bat was tremendous. His twitter account too has been as good as his batting, with the former opener showcasing his witty and sarcastic side very often.
It's no hidden fact that the Piers Morgan is quite obsessed with the cricketer and it certainly shows in his tweets. He’s attempted to poke fun at Sehwag for a while. Let’s be honest, English isn’t Sehwag’s first language and he’s not eloquent at it. But, what he does is so funny that we just ignore the typos, grammatical mistakes et al. Not knowing English isn’t really a crime. But Piers, being the staunch English journalist that he is, can’t look past it. This time he 'tried' to whack our cricket legend on Twitter by correcting his grammar and guess what, he got trolled again.
While congratulating the Indian Kabaddi team for their impeccable performance at the World Cup, Sehwag took a jibe at England by tweeting - England loose in a World Cup again.Only the sport changes.This time it's Kabaddi. India thrash them 69-18.All the best for semis #INDvENG.
To which Piers Morgan replied - It's 'lose'. Although Sehwag hasn't replied to it yet, the Indian Twitterati is backing him up in full swing.
