Probe on hold: SIT member tests positive; Shruti, Jaya sent back

The NCB has been actively probing the drugs angle with regards to the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. Sushant’s former manager Shruti Modi and talent manager Jaya Saha had been summoned by the NCB on Wednesday.

However they have been sent back, bringing a break to the investigation. NCB’s deputy director KPS Malhotra confirmed that one member of the SIT probing the case tested positive post which Shruti and Jaya were sent back bringing a halt to the drugs angle being probed in the case.

The Narcotics Control Bureau has till now arrested Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, Sushant’s house manager Samuel Miranda and staff Dipesh Sawant. Sushant and Rhea are expected to file for bail today.
