After making it big in Hollywood, Danial Radcliffe is set to return to the stage this year. No, he will not act in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, but has an exciting role in The Old Vic's revival of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. Daniel will star with The Hour's Joshua McGuire as the bumbling title characters.
Playwright Tom Stoppard's reinvention of these two minor characters has been thrilling audiences worldwide for the last 50 years, so now's the perfect time for a revival. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead is currently scheduled to run from February 25 through April 29 at The Old Vic in celebration of its 50th anniversary. This very special revival will beamed live to cinemas on April 20 as part of National Theatre Live.
Radcliffe is a veteran of the stage at just 27 years old, having first made waves in Equus and later for his critically-acclaimed performances in the Broadway revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and The Cripple of Inishmaan.
