The Goa Rhythm and Blues Festival kicked off with some great music by amcho Herman Abreo and the band that included Shayne Ballantyne on guitar. Later, The Aviv Pereira Project took over and Aviv and Elvis Rumion got the people to 'keep on dancin'. The festival, organised by the Delhi-based Genesis Foundation, is being held at Vivanta by Taj, Aguada, on the hill overlooking the ocean. The music, the view, the breeze, the smell wafting in from the live counters and even the Mini Cooper parked near the stage all added to the ambience. People mingled about, partaking of the food and music. Divine Raaga added a fusion sound after the sun had set and Soulmate ended an evening of brilliant live music with a heavy dose of the electric blues.
