Actress Anna Kendrick says she is keen to take on the role of Squirrel Girl, the rodent superhero.
The character’s real name is Doreen Green. She has the ability to communicate with squirrels, and her features include claws on her hands and strong teeth. Squirrel Girl has also defeated supervillains such as Doctor Doom and joined the Great Lakes Avengers.“My brother sent me a Squirrel Girl comic because he thinks I should play her. I don’t know what Squirrel Girl does other than be half squirrel, but I could be half squirrel,” Kendrick said.
