Rochelle Fernandes bagged the first place for her song ‘Eleisanv’ in the recent Konkani Kantaram Competition on Ethical Voting. The competition which was held at the Conference Hall of Tiatr Academy of Goa in collaboration with the office of the Chief Electoral Officer aimed at creating awareness among the voters.
Domnic Fernandes (song ‘Motam’) and Althea Fernandes (song ‘Amchem Mot’) bagged the second and third places respectively. Michael Da Caranzalem bagged the consolation prize for his song ‘Moladik Zaunchim Amchim Motam’ and Cezar D’Mello bagged the best lyrics prize for his song ‘Eleisanv'. Chief Electoral Officer Kunal was the Chief Guest and gave away the prizes to the winners. The judges comprised of well-known tiatrists Pedro Caitano D’Silva (C. D’Silva), Socorro Fernandes (Socorro de St. Cruz) and Navti.
