The Spice Girls will reportedly be starring in a TV documentary as they reunite for their 20th anniversary. But sadly not all five original members of the girlband will feature, as Victoria Beckham and Mel C have declined to reunite with their former bandmates. The three reuniting members, Geri Horner, Mel B and Emma Bunton are in talks to document their comeback in a three-part TV series. “The Spice Girls comeback is the big story in pop so it’s no wonder the girls want to maximise their popularity. There is certainly a big audience for it. BBC, ITV and Sky will no doubt be fighting it out for the rights. The girls are always good value, so there will be plenty of material,” said a source. The documentary is said to be a mix of footage based on the recording process for their new material and a look back at the band’s 90’s heyday.
