Located in the scenic Altinho hills amidst huge heritage mansions all around, The Sunaparata -Goa Centre for the Arts, is a postcard picture perfect. A non-profit arts education initiative started by Dattaraj V. Salgaocar, the centre is a major culture hub in the city.
From art exhibits, film screenings, book readings, theatre and poetry performances, art classes etc, it all happens here and the centre truly is a favorite place for creative minds from all over to met and exchange ideas.
The centre also has regular weekly programmes all through the years like the Sketch Club, Film for Thought (documentary and art films), the Mango Tree after-school visual art class for children, a children’s Theatre Club etc.
What's more the centre also has a pretty cafe Bodega located indoors where visitors can sample various pastries and delicacies like the melt in the mouth red velvet cupcakes baked by the noted Vandana, while relaxing in a peaceful atmosphere with nothing but the sounds of nature to keep you company.
