TAG to remember Tiatr Artistes of yesteryears

Every month Tiatr Academy of Goa organizes a special programme, ‘Somplolea Tiatristancho Ugddas' to remember the late Tiatr artistes who were born in a particular month and are no more with us today, highlighting their contribution in the field of tiatr.

This month the programme will be held on 22nd August 2017 at 4:30 pm at the Conference Hall of Tiatr Academy of Goa, Campal Trade Centre.
The artistes born in the month of August and are not living, who will be remembered are Saib Rocha, C. Alvares, Minguel Rod, Alfred Rose, Felicio Cardozo, Francisco Antonio Fernandes, Rosary Ferns, Mateus Pereira, Nicolau Xavier Fernandes (N.X.) Shalini Mardolkar, Caetano Inacio Goes, Domingos Joao Fernandes, Jose Agostinho and Fernandes (A. Friend).

Netherlands Jazz Quintet starring Goan youth to perform in Benaulim

The international act Quintiz from Netherlands will be in Goa on Monday as part of their all India tour. They will be performing at The Farm House, Bar & Bistro, Benaulim.

Quintiz is a a Jazz/Jazz-Fusion quintet from Maastricht, Netherlands. Formed in September 2016, they started off as a trio playing jazz standards at quite a few gigs across Maastricht. "Each performance promises to be honest, full of energy and will make you smile during and after," said a band member.
