Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May once appeared on your television, racing cars, banging cars, breaking cars and having a lot of fun while doing it (obviously!). That was on Top Gear, a show they hosted for years, centuries it seemed. Something went wrong somewhere and now we’re stuck with Joey from FRIENDS. He’s funny, but Clarkson, Hammond and May were on a whole different level altogether.
Anyway, we need to move on from that BBC show, just like they did. The three crazy musketeers are back on Amazon, with an Amazon Original show called The Grand Tour. The trailer features the three in different countries, driving cars, destroying them, seeing one get blown apart by a tank and other stuff that has become standard practice with them. It’s going to be one funny but educative show and the camaraderie and comedic timing is still there. That’s what makes them so cool. It’s the fact that they make everything look really really difficult but they also make you laugh till tears come out.
