The sixth edition of the Publishing Next conference organised by Cinnamon Teal Publishing was held at the Krishnadas Shama Goa Central Library, Panaji.The two day conference witnessed publishers, authors, editors etc from all over India and abroad converging to exchange ideas and discuss issues related to the publishing industry. Padma Shri awardee Mamang Dai, author and poet from Itanagar gave the key address. Other noted personalities that attended included Nirmal Kanti Bhattacharjee, former director, National Book Trust and editorial director Niyogi Books, Ramu Ramanathan, editor, PrintWeek India, Andrej Blatnik, author and translator, Slovenia etc. The conference saw enlightening sessions and workshops on different topics like understanding contracts and copyrights, digitizing of the back list, the state of library infrastructure in India, the role of publishers in India languages, self publishing etc.
