Turtles in fishing net rescued

The first week of July witnessed another Turtle stranding along the beach of Cavelossim. A turtle was seen washed ashore stuck in fishing net. The Drishti Lifeguards spotted the turtle. They freed it from the fishing net along with the help of the beach cleaning staff and released it safely back into the sea. A total of six turtles have been rescued along the beach in the past month by Drishti Lifeguards.
