With many Indian actors giving differing views about the whole ban on Pakistani actors in India, Om Puri too was recently asked for his take on the same. However the comments that he made during a live television debate has left people fuming. “Who had asked the soldiers to join the army? Who told them to pick the weapons?” he said. “ Do you want India-Pakistan enmity to turn like Israel and Palestine, and fight for ages? India is home to crores of Muslims, there is no point in proving them for war. Om Puri further said that India should prepare 15-20 human suicide bombers and send them to Pakistan for the blasts. His comments have earned him the wrath of Twitter.
