For anyone who think that things at FC Goa couldn’t be any worse, they’ve perhaps forgotten the disastrous start to season one. FC Goa took a while to find their feet then but made it to the semi-finals, only to lose out to the eventual winners “ Atletico de Kolkata. The second season was much better but disaster would strike, this time in the final. We all know the story there.
So why is this start by FC Goa in season three so maligned? Is it the change in owner or just general frustration aimed at the promoters and other businessmen. Football is about the game, but money does play a big part too. At the end of the day, what happens on the field happens because of a miscalculation here or a mistake there. Or perhaps it’s just because the other team was set up better.
FC Goa haven’t always had the best start, but they pick up the pace as the games go by and we shouldn’t expect anything different from Zico and the team. A fan needs to have faith, since he or she cannot really control anything out there on the pitch. Perhaps it’s time everyone sends some good vibes out there for FC Goa to feed off.

We still have a long way to go, but the Gaurs needs to improve on their teamwork and composure. Lack of clinical finishing and improper positioning by the strikers let the team down against Pune. I'm sure Zico will sort that out soon. Don't stop believing!

We have a long way to go. We had a bad start in the first edition also but we bounced back and performed so well. Our team will bounce back this time also but we need to get behind them and not criticize them. It’s not over until it’s over!

FC Goa have to bring back the hunger they had last season. No blaming the team or any players. We've been hit by injuries but again the players have to step it up and work harder from here. From a fan point of view it is very disappointing to have two losses from our first two games. No one can doubt Zico's ability as a coach and I'm sure the team will turn things around and get back to winning ways.

We played a good game. It's just that we are not finding a good combination and the defending has to also improve. According to me, Zico should give the other goalkeepers a chance. I feel Kattimani is lacking confidence. He needs more time to settle or needs rest. And the injuries to Robin Singh and Gregory is hurting a lot. But I believe Zico will find a solution to all this and FC Goa will bounce back stronger

It’s just two down, 12 more to go, and a very very long way to go. Plus Gregory, Romeo, Denzil and Robin haven’t played much yet. With the news of (Leo) Moura coming in I guess they will have a great journey ahead

What we are missing is passion and players with a presence like Gregory Arnolin and Leo Moura, in every area of the team, who not only have the power to motivate the team but also the power to ignite the crowd. Rafael was superb yesterday, if only we had a Rafael in every position. We've also let some really good young players go. In our last two matches two ex FC Goa players, Lucca and Nazary, have been MOTMs, which says a lot really. For those writing FC Goa off, remember how we bounced back in season one. Patience and faith is what we need.
