Jake Gyllenhal is a hunk. Enough said. He, with his shirt on unlike some Khans, can make women swoon with just a wry smile. Imagine what would happen if he took his shirt off. Everyone loves him. Amy Adams may not. Okay, we don’t mean Amy Adams in real life, but the character Adams plays in a movie called Nocturnal Animals, directed by fashion designer turned director Tom Ford. The story so far is, Adams and Gyllenhal meet and admit that each had a crush on the other back in the day. A few smiles let us know what may happen next. Since this is a trailer, they trim out all the juicy stuff, save for a slightly ominous scene of Adams’ mother telling her that Gyllenhall is not good news. A few weird scenes later, we realise that something is wrong. Amy Adams then calls Jake Gyllenhall her ‘ex-husband’ in a conversation. Oh the horror! Now we’re led in to believe that there’s something seriously rotten in the state of Denmark (read Shakespeare to get this one).
