Now long lines at store or restaurants can be a comfy parade of autonomous chairs, intelligently shuffling patrons up the waiting ranks because Nissan has finally done it “ created a monster only previously hinted at by apocalyptic sci-fi films, a self-driving autonomous robotic chair.
Using the same ProPilot car technology announced in July, Nissan has put its autonomous know-how into restaurant queue lines simply to score high on the gimmick scale. However, it does bring up ideas about how autonomous tech could reach beyond cars and into assisted living devices like wheelchairs, something institutions such as MIT have investigated for years.
