Post-poll scenario and minority votes

Hazard a guess why some of the politicos, who have been vocal against the saffronites in the past, now find muted over the recent controversy on Goa’s history? Is it because they do not want anyone to accuse them of minority appeasement or is it simply because they are now wary of the minority vote split amongst 3-4 parties as evidenced by the results of the recently held Assembly polls. Caution seems to be the catchword amongst the politicians, more so amongst Saxtti-based politicos post-2022 polls.
