The Government’s decision to transfer the Swapnil Walke murder case to the Crime Branch has raised a question or two in the commercial capital. Questions are being raised whether the decision to transfer the case to the CB has anything to do with the Margao police or simply that the police higher-ups are keen to take the case to its logical conclusion at the earliest. What has raised further eyebrows is the fact that the case has been handed over to the Crime Branch when the men-in-uniform had gone to town in a celebration mode to announce a breakthrough. Any questions?
