It must have come as a surprise for Goa Forward Chief Vijaibab Sardesai that he retained Fatorda with a mere 1500-vote margin. What, however, has come as a rude shock for the three-time MLA are reports that a senior Congress leader had conveyed to the powers that be in Delhi that he would he would lose by a 3000 vote margin. Not one who will take things lying down, Vijaibab is believed to have questioned Congress observers whether the state leaders were all waiting to hear the news of his defeat when the two parties had fought the battle together. Any questions?
