Congress veteran Luizinhbab Faleiro has a task at hand to scout for a capable and winnable candidate to retain his hold over the Navelim Zilla Panchayat seat. With the Election Commission countermanding the Navelim Zilla Panchayat election following the death of Congress candidate Jose Santarita Coelho, Luizinhbab will have to zero in on a candidate capable enough to dislodge two-time sitting ZP member Cipru Cardozo, seeking reelection as an independent.
