As Congress unveiled its second list of candidates for the ensuing polls, many party workers have turned to the dictionary to find out the meaning of loyalty. For, they clearly remember P Chidambaram’s promise that party workers with loyalty, winnability and integrity will bag the tickets. A glance at the first two lists shows that new entrants, who joined the party in recent months, have managed to get the prized tickets. Workers wonder whether the new entrants have bagged the tickets on the winnability factor or extraneous factors.
