With the state Congress cold-shouldering his plea for opposition unity to take on the ruling BJP in 2022, Goa Forward Party Chief Vijaibab Sardesai has decided to set a deadline on the main opposition party to take a call at the earliest. With Opposition leader Digambarbab Kamat’s call for opposition unity also not going down well with a section of Congress leaders, Vijaibab is believed to have recently told party lieutenants via Zoom that it’s high time the regional party set a time-frame for the main opposition party to decide on opposition unity before launching an independent campaign for the electoral battle.
