The inauspicious month of Pitru Paksa ended over a month ago, and curtains are set to come down on the Diwali festivities during the weekend, but Goa Forward Party’s plan to set up shop in Diggu’s fiefdom is yet to see the light of the day. Goa Forward chief Vijaibab Sardesai had announced in mid-September, soon after party-backed Ganashyambab Shirodkar was elected the new Margao civic chief, that the regional outfit will open an office in Margao. The Goa Forward office is yet to take shape to date, throwing up questions about whether Vijaibab has done a re-think after Diggu bounced back into the Margao civic body.
