Will Goa Forward Chief Vijai Sardesai take up the gauntlet thrown by a section of the civil society to quit the NDA if he is genuine about his opposition to the BJP? Well, Goa Forward’s continuing membership with the BJP-led NDA had evoked all-round flak, more so after he forged an alliance with Opposition Leader Digambar Kamat and MLA Reginaldo Lourenco to jointly fight the Margao municipal polls. Moments after the civil society’s challenge, the Goa Forward has convened the party Executive Committee meeting on Tuesday.
